Landrum P.-T. A. Meets Thursday Night at 8 The parents and teachers from District 1 in Spartanburg County will meet in »the Landrum gram mar school auditorium March 8 at 3. R. E. Mabry is superintend ent of District 1. Fred K. (Jrain, principal oi of Landrum High School, is pro gram chairman and will preside over the meeting. •The Rev. Hartzog Beard from Motlow will conduct the devo tional. Mrs. Joseph Lee from Landrum will lead a panel discussion on the subject: “What the Teacher Ex pects from the Parent and What the Parent Expects from the Teacher.” The panel will consist of one parent from each of the five districts now included in District 1 and one teacher from each of the three high schools. Those tak ing part other than Mrs. Lee are Mrs. Steven Gosnell, Landrum; Mrs. Elizabeth C. Dixon and Mrs. Charles Mabry, Campobello; Mrs. G. W. Whitlock, and Mrs. Grier L. Gardner, New Prospect; Lloyd L. Skinner, Motlow; and the par ticipant from North Pacolet is yet to be announced. Miss Mary Jane Curry of Landrum will sum marize the panel. Immediately following the pro gram^ the group will adjourn to the lunch room for a social hour. The social committee is composed of Mesdames F. M. Littlefield, Jeanette Solesbee, and Margaret Ann Snellgrove. Mr. and Mrs. Manne Lindholm have flown to San Francisco after their annual visit at Pine Crest Inn.
