COMMUNICATIONS Dear Home Friendly Club: It gives me great pleasure to once more write to you who are friends to all the boys in service. I enjoyed reading your letters to us while I was stationed at Fort Jackson. I have been trans ferred here to Fort Lawton, Wash. I feel that mail from my friends back home will be more welcome than ever due to the fact that I cannot come home and see them any more. I have been here a week and I find that the weather is quite warm. I think I am going to like it here. However, I know that a letter from home every now. and again will make my stay more pleasant and I know that the other fellows feel the same way. Washington is a pretty place, but Tryon is prettier. I am look ing forward to the day when I can look upon it once more^ In closing I remain a friend of Try on. Pvt. William Fox.
