The following patients were discharged from the hospital: Mrs. Frank Thompson, of Mill Spring; Mrs. Eugene McSwain and daughter, Debra Sharon, Landrum. TWO BALL GAMES Two ball games will be played at Harmon Field this week end. The first Saturday at 3:30 be tween Tryon and Columbus and the second on Sunday at 3:30 be tween Tryon and Veterans Sun day school of Columbus. Both games will be exhibition games. SNEAD THRILLS CROWD Sam Snead entertained approxi mately 300 people Tuesday after noon at the Tryon Country Club. Over the 18 holes, Snead had 3 birdieg, 3 bogies, and 12 pars for an even par 72. The team match play ended all even with Ted Fox of Tryon and Joe Davis of Spar tanburg holding their own with Snead and Bill Ethridge of Hen dersonville. KIWANIS TONIGHT The Tryon Kiwanis Club will meet tonight at 7 o’clock at the Rutherfordton Country Club. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Holman whp are moving to their new home in Arizona are visiting scenic points enroute including Charleston, S. C., and New Orleans, La., where they had dinner at Antoine’s.
