TWO BALL GAMES
Two ball games will be played
at Harmon Field this week end.
The first Saturday at 3:30 be

SNEAD THRILLS CROWD
Sam Snead entertained approxi
mately 300 people Tuesday after
noon at the Tryon Country Club.
Over the 18 holes, Snead had 3
birdieg, 3 bogies, and 12 pars for
an even par 72. The team match
play ended all even with Ted Fox
of Tryon and Joe Davis of Spar
tanburg holding their own with
Snead and Bill Ethridge of Hen
dersonville.
KIWANIS TONIGHT
The Tryon Kiwanis Club will
meet tonight at 7 o’clock at the
Rutherfordton Country Club.
