GAZE—TYNG A recent issue of the New York Herald Tribune reported the mar riage of Mrs. Lucien H. Tyng of 200 E. 66th St. to Dr. Harry Gaze at Portsmouth, New Hamp shire on July 28th. The bridegroom, Dr. Thomas Henry Gaze, beter known as Dr. Harry Gaze, is a lecturer and world traveller, who was guest minister at Carnegie Hall during Dr. Emmett Fox’s sabatical year. Mrs. Tyng, widow of Lucien Hamilton Tyng, prominent finan cial, social and philanthropic lead er of New York City whom she married in 1933, was the former Olive Wyndham, leading actress of many Broadway productions. Mr. Tyng died in 1948 before complet ing the new home on Slcyuka Mountain near Tryon. Dr. and Mrs. Gaze are spending their honeymoon in York Harbor, Maine. Her sister, Janet Beecher, a. former movie star, was present at the wedding. Among the famous plays in which the bride took leading roles as Olive Wyndham were “Dinner At 8", “It Happened to Mary", “The Green Goddess,” “The Man Prom Home.” The bride sold her Tryon home several months ago to Lawrence Bradley of Mew York. Baseball Wednesday . The league leading Beacon nine plays Tryon at-' Harmon Field on Wednesday at 3:30 p. m. Beacon advanced to the semi-finals of the recent State Semi-Pro Tournament before being eliminated, and is recognized as one of the leading semi-pro teams in the State.
