The round table, „Continued On Back Page ..— Junior Dairy Show Planned" For September 10th The Polk County 4-H Dairy Foundation Committee met recent ly with extension agents and laid plans for the fifth annual 4-H dairy exhibit. Members of the Foundation Committee are Frank Gallimore, Kiwanis representative; J. H. Gibbs, Rotary club; C. D. Stevens, mayor; Matt O’Shields, 'Chamber of Commerce; Clyde Tharpe and Dr. Gordon Graham, Lions Club. The local show date will be September 10th from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m., at Harmon Field. The district show will be at Enka at the new show pavilion on Sept. 11. The Dairy Foundation plans to make this a general farmers get to-gether with a picnic lunch at Harmon Field on show day. Matt O’Shields, president of the Tryon Chamber of Commerce is chairman of the finance committee. HOSPITAL NEWS The following patients were ad mitted to St. Luke’s Hospital: J. W. Pate, Landrum;. Kiss Minerva Avant, Tryon; Gray Peagan, Co lumbus. The following patients were discharged from the hospital: Franklin Pace, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lotan Pace of Tryon, and Mrs. George Greene, Route 1, Campobello, S. C. There will be a meeting at the Stearns school in Columbus at l'P< m., oh Friday,. August 17th, to discuss the “Family Farm Policy Review” and to determine the policy and procedure for con ducting tne review. _
