have been found who are willing
to haul girls from the school house
to the place of meeting and then
from the meeting to their homes.

basis, maybe *some mothers will
volunteer to look after their own
daughters. Eight of them doing it
will guarantee a troop . . . News
has been received in Tryon of the
death of A. F. Edwards of Gulf
port, Miss., after an illness of
sometime. He was the father of
Oliver G. Edwards of Tryon and
was a prominent building con
tractor.
