Kellersberger At 3 P. M. Tuesday At Church House The public meeting of the Wo men’s Society of the Congrega tional Church will be held Tues day afternoon at 3 o’clock instead of the hour previously announced. Mrs. Julia Lake Kellersberger of New York City will tell human interest stories of her experiences as a missionary to the Leper col ony in the Belgian Congo. The public is invited to attend the meeting Tuesday at 3 o’clock. Hostesses At Sunnydale Mrs. W. H. McDonald and Mrs. W. A. McCargo will be hostesses at a luncheon meeting at Sunny dale Sept. 29th, to members of Rho Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma honorary sorority for Key Women Educators. At this meeting three new mem bers will be initiated. Guests are expected from Gas tonia, Belmont, Boiling Springs, Cramerton, Cherryville, Forest City, Kings Mountain, Lincolnton, Mount Holly and Shelby. Women’s Championship Pairings The pairings for the Women’s Golf Championship Tournament are as follows: Mahler vs. Corpen ing; Shaffer vs. Vance; Hanscomb vs. Brady; Vining vs. Garcia; Browp vs. Bowen; Burwell vs. Kirkland; Newhall vs. Stratford; Bartol vs. Anderson. All matches are 18 holes and the first matches should be played by Sept. 27th. All losers of the first matches will make up the consola tion flight which will be played with a handicap. Moore, Chicago. The G. F. S. of the Holy Cross Church had its first meeting Fri day with 30 girls present. Mrs. Chester Dimick told of the G. F. S. National Assembly in New London, Conn.
