BRIDGE WINNERS The results of the duplicate bridge tournament held at Oak Hall hotel Thursday night are as fol lows: First, Dr. and Mrs. /C. F. Rabell; second, Col. J. O. Salford and Julius Feder; third, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. White. The Howell movement was used. HOSPITAL NEWS The following patients were ad mitted to St. Luke’s Hosptial: Mrs. Nellie Bright, Landrum; Brenda Gail Russell and Bill Russell, chil dren of Mr. and Mrs. William Russell of Landrum. There were no dischargees. Mr. and Mrs. Earle Koone and daughter, Pamila of Landrum, had four generations as their guests Sunday. They were: Mrs. Koon’s brother, Dr. Ralph Praytor and family of Columbia, her mother, Mrs. R. B. Praytor of Spartan burg, and her grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Glass of Spartanburg. Prof, and Mrs. W. P. White sides were recent visitors in our community. Mr. Whitesides wiH be ‘remembered as a former principal of Stearns school. Greer, S. C.
