He showed samples of some of the newest developments in the synthetic threads and how they took various dyes. John Stephenson was inducted into the club by Ben White as the latest member. Craig Furr was elected by the directors to fill out the unexpired term of Wilbur Roadhouse, who received an inde finite leave of absence during his convalescence. It was voted that a joint ses sion with the Hendersonville club be held to hear a talk by a Mexican exchange student, on Nov. 12, at Hendersonville. Visiting Rotarians were B. Rush Jolly, L. E. Boyd and Bill McShane, Hendersonville; Herbert D. Oliver, Atlanta, Ga. Guests were Mayor Stevens, C. M. Eargle, Ernest Ker hulas, Les Barnette, Frank Sims and Fred Anderson. —J.O.S. Kay Wilson Buys Farm Kay Wilson of Columbus has bought the Otis Waldrop farm, in Sandy Plains section of Polk Coun ty and will stock it with beef cattle. The property joins the J. A. Wilson place on Route No. 9 between Mill Spring and Green Creek. Sale was made through Columbus Realty Co. John J. Burling of the real estate firm, The Richland Co., and a former president of the Real Estate Board of Summit, N. J., is visiting his cousins, the Misses James and Mrs. Chase at The Cottage Gate in Gillette Woods.
