FOR MEMORIAL FUND St. Luke’s Hospital has received two gifts for its Memorial Fund, one from Miss Katherine D. Ham ilton in memory of Mrs. Helen Burnett; and one from J. S. Hil dreath in memory of Mrs. Florence Hildreath. COMMUNICATION Dear Hoifle Friendly Friends: Received your October issue of the News and addresses of boys from good old North Carolina, and really, was glad to get it. I am al ways looking forward to them. I let my huddies read them and ey really like the idea of it and ,h they were getting one from ir home town. Well, I have been to 3rd A. A. Food Service School and got my diploma from Cook and Bakery School the last day of August and returned to my old Medical Co., which Grady Earl Underwood and Jack Phillips are in, to cook. I alwavs watch out for them and see that they get plenty to eat. I like cooking real fine. We also have a next door neighbor from good old Polk, who is Roy Burrell, whom we see and visit ver.y often. Well, I must close for this time, all except that I hope everyone in Polk County lots of luck and keep the Newsletter coming each month, for I really enjoy it lots. * “A home town used to be.” In the next letter, tell all the boys I said hello.
