DANSONS ENTERTAINED A farewell party was given Fri day evening at the Masonic Hall by the Landrum Chapter N;o. 68 O.E.S., honoring Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Danson, who are moving to York on Monday. The hall was decorated with chrysanthemums and dried ar rangements. 26 guests enjoyed games conducted by Mrs. C. J. Ayres and Mrs. Yates Gilmore with •es being won by Mr. and Mrs. pny Johnson, who in turn pre ed them to the Dansons. Mrs. Roy Heavner, in behalf of the Chapter, presented Mr. and Mrs. Danson with a green pottery planter encircled by a brass hold er, as a parting gift. Decorated party squares, nuts • and Russian tea was served from an appointed table covered with an embroidered, white linen cloth. Pink candles and chrysanthemums were used to carry out the pink and white motif. Tea was poured . by Mrs. George DeCarme, worthy matron, assisting in serving were Mrs. Clark Bridges and Mrs. Yates Gilmore. DAILY BULLETINS—5c each.
