LIST TAKERS AIDED
Chapel Hill, Dec. 12.—The 1,200
township list takers in North Caro
lina will receive instruction aid
from the University of North Caro
lina’s Institute of Government in
preparation for the listing January
1 of property subject to county
and municipal taxation, it was an
nounced today.
The program of Instruction will
be given in more than 90 of the 100
counties in the State on Monday
Dec. 17, under the sponsorship of
the Institute and the State Tax
Supervisors Association.
In each county the tax supervisor
_is acting as instructor and will use
r%p his textbook the Institute’s
^Jteuidebook for List ^Takers and As
sesors, compiled by Henry Lewis
of the Institute’s staff.
