Landrum Club Leads Ruritans The Landrum Ruritan Club dom inated Spartan District’s 1951 year of work and received plaques on Wednesday night for community service and club expansion. The attendance plaque went to the Sharon Club, runner-up in community service among the dis trict’s 13 clubs. The 31-member Landrum unit carried out an 11-point Ruritan service program including outstand ing town * beautification, agricul tural, charity and Boy Scout pro jects. It was their second com munity service achievement, having taken district honors in 1949, with Fairforest, the 1950 winner.—The Spartanburg Herald.
