Christmas Cantata at Saluda
The Christmas Cantata, “A King
is Given” will be presented Mon
day, December 17, at 8 p. m. in
the Saluda High School Audi
torum. Choral selections, under the
direction of Mrs. Raymond Steph
enson and Mrs. John T. Coats,
will be given by the Carol Choir,
the Junior Glee Club and the
High School Glee Club. The dia
logue is directed by Mrs. Dan
Pace. Over a hundred students
will take part in the programe.
Tryon School Closes Dec. 21
The Tryon School will close
for Christmas on Friday, December
21. A turkey dinner will be serv
ed for lunch in the school cafe
teria on Thursday before t^he
school is out on Friday. Lunch
will not be served at the school
on December 21. School will be
dismissed in time for students
to have lunch at home.
