MUSIC MONDAY
The sweet voices of the colored
people are always appreciated by
music lovers. Two or three years
ago there was a group of mature
singers very ably led by Prpf.
W. H. Green of the Embury school
whose performances gave an un
usual amount of pleasure. The
Tryon Council of Church Women
have been urging Prof. Green to
fsemble and train this group
ain. They are now ready, and
11 give a concert for the benefit
of the Embury school at the Con
gregational Church House next
Monday evening at 8. This prom
ises to be a real musical treat,
as well as a chance to help a
worthwhile cause.—Contributed.
