Nanney, were as fol lows : Puppy class, (6 to 8 months old), “Moonlight”, owned by C. L. Brown of War, West Virginia. Male puppy class (6 to 12 months old), “Oscar”, owned by T. Ross Alexander, Statesville. Female (under 1 year old), “Rivanna High Grade Dolly”, own ed by Mr. and Mrs. F. K. Pace, Palmyra, Va. Derby males under 2 years, “Burris Hills Setter”, owned by Burris Hills Kennels, Lincoln ton, N. C. All age males. “While Away Stride”, owned by C. L. Brown. Derby females, “Gold Hill Tar get’, owned by Rev. Glenn Miller, Vale, N. C. Best Natural Carriage, “Win Away Stride’, owned by C. L. Brown. Best Hound in Show, “Alabama Girl”, owned by Charlie Burrage, Concord, N. C. Best Opposite Sex, “Burris Hills Faun”, owned by Burris Hills Ken nels, Lincolnton, N. C. Co-manager Elbert Nanney and Ringmaster Dr. James G. K. Mc Clure. stated that the oualitv of the Hound Show this year was as fine as they had ever seen. In one class there were 25 hounds com peting:. The Hound, Show itself drew hundreds of spectators and exhibitors. Dogs were presented from Virginia, Tennessee, West Virginia, Ohio, North and South Carolina.
