Among the Hendersonville parents who either accompanied Miss Joyce Shook’s Third grade pupils to Tryon Thurs day or met them at the depot here were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ewbank, Mrs. W. W. Carpenter, Mrs. Wil liam T. Mc-Shane, Mrs. C. L. Smb (Mary Foster), Mrs. O. K. ott, Mrs. Hugh Bowden, Mrs. A. Kelly, Mrs. L. W. Drichorst and Miss Martha L. Knoke, the latter two from Wheeling, West Virginia. The pupils and parents were invited to visit Cowan’s Super Market, the Toy House, Tryon School and Valhalla Hand weavers, all enroute to their homes, but the train was 30 minutes late, arriving at 1:25 and the youngsters were crying for something to eat and they headed for Harmon Field, a picnic and games .... That’s the Le Levre Quartet with Little Troy in the all night singing at Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium Saturday. . . Graves Taylor will be on WSPA Sunday afternoon shortly after dinner.
