MRS. MARY CASE
Mrs. Mary McCurry Case, 73,
wife of the late Luther Case, died
Wednesday at 6:15 a. m. at the
home of a daughter, Mrs. Roy
West, in Columbus after an ill
ness of about three years.
j Mrs. Case was born in Polk
County. She was a daughter of the
late Harvey and Mary Jane Smith
| McCurry. She was a member of
| Columbus Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conduct
ed Friday at 2 p. m. at Columbus
Baptist Church by the Rev. Leroy
Leppard. Buriel will be in the
church cemetery.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Surviving are: five daughters,
Mrs. West and Mrs. Lewis Denton
of Columbus, Mrs. Them Johnson
of Asheville, Mrs. Jim Newman of
Blowing Rock and Mrs. Andrew
Steadman of Landrum; five sons,
Virgil, J. B. and Proctor Case of
Columfbus, James Lee Case of
Washington and Paul Case of
oparcanourg; a sister, Mrs. W. B.
Connor of Columbus; two brothers
Walter McCurry of Chimney Rock
and Joe McCurry of Columbus;
41 grandchildren and 28 great
grandchildren.
The body will be at the home of
Mrs. West after 10 a. m. Thurs
day.
MicFarland Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
