the largest auditorium in this part
of the country .... Thursday
will be a full day in Tryon. The
new Plymouth will be on display
at Donald Motor Co., the Duplicate
^^ge Tournament at Oak Hall,
practices for Congregational,
E^jtist and Methodist Churches,
plus a subdistrict missionary meet
ing at the Methodist; the P.-T. A.
also meets Thursday night at the
school to hear the Superintendent
of the Spartanburg City Schools

sented to the public throughout the
United States on Thursday, Nov.
20th, Donald Motor Co., announc
ed today.
“Advanced engineering and
styling make the new Plymouth

The 1953 Plymouth models will
be on display at Donald Motor
Co.
The 1953 Plymouth is the most
completely new Plymouth to be
presented to the public in the
quarter-century since the original
model rolled off the assembly line.
Plymouth Motor Corporation
executives predict motorists will
be delighted with the new, stream
lined exterior, the luxuriously
tailored harmoniing interiors, the
increased horsepower and the
scores of engineering innovations
in the 1953 line which goes on
display in dealers’ showrooms on
November 20th.
“This year Plymouth is introduc
ing a new concept of automobile
design in the low priced field,”
President John P. Mansfield de
clared in describing the 1953
models. “Superb styling is co
ordinated with radicol engineering
; development to produce the truly
balanced car for easier, safer and
more comfortable driving.” ’
Height of the new Plymouth has
been reduced for improved ap
pearance. Y.l engineers have de
signed even more room into the
car’s interior and luggage com
partment. The 1953 model has more
headroom, greater . legroom and
more hip and shoulder space than
ever before.
