At the annual meeting of the
Tryon Riding & Hunt Club Tues
day night Willis E. Kuhn of Try
on and Indianapolis, Ind., was re
elected president. Herbert Oliver
of Tryon and Atlanta, Ga., and
George Webster of Chinquapin
Farm were elected on the Board
of Directors.
The new board members with
the holdovers will meet in a few
days to appoint the secretary,
treasurer and other officers.

Celebrate Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Massenburg
and daughter, Johnsye of Raleigh
will spend the week-end in Tryon
as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ryan
McCown. Mr. and Mrs. McCown,
who were married on December
12th, will celebrate their 20th an
niversary while their guests are
here. Mr. McCown and Mr. Mas
senburg are former law partners.
