Weather Christmas Day was
mild with a low of 40 and a high
of about 60. Weather for the
week-end about the same, partly
cloudy . . . . No serious motor
accidents reported; no deaths;
everything normal with a lot of
visiting and private parties. Par
ties will continue throughout the
holidays with several each day.
The marriage of Miss Mary Louise
Gillespie to Mr. R. B. Jones took
place Christmas Day at the Trvon
First Baptist Church . . . The
