versary Edition of The Bulletin
brought out so many good things
about the community and its peo
ple and let us know that hundreds
of otner good things were left out
unintentionally. Please report them
to ns for the record. A lot of read
ers say tney are going to save
their copy for reference for its
value in the contributed articles
of distinguished Tryonites, of the
new homes since The Bulletin
started, listed according to neigh
borhoods; of the organization lead
ers, and for other reasons. So
please report to us any corrections
in order to keep the record straight
as far as possible. Often people
don t know the names of the va
rious churches in the county and
the name of the minister or leader.
We have such a list in the Anni
versary Edition. In the Tryon
civic directory, the name of Capt.
C. E. Dimick and not Mrs. Dimick
should have been listed as treasur
er of the Lanier Club. Probably
the first time a man has ever held
office in the Club, which now ac
cepts men as members. Capt.
Dimick is a great reader and in
tensely interested in the welfare

The net proceeds from the
Farmers’ Frolic at Columbus on
Friday night was $272,48.
