Region Scouts Rank High
Nelson Jackson, former president
of the Piedmont Boy Scout Coun
cil and a member of the executive
board of Region 6, comprising
states in the Southeast, has re
ceived a telegram from the Region
Chairman, Bill Campbell of South
ern Pines, which says:

The Lorillard Cup is one of the
highest awards that can be given
for achievement in Scout work.
The Piedmont Council of which
I Polk County is a part, is the out
I standing council of Region 6.
Mr. Jackson has been1 a leader
in local Scout work as well as in
the council, region and nation for
more than 25 years.
