DECATUR WILSON Decatur Wilson, 88, of the Mel- j vin Hill section of Polk County, d;ed this morning about 5, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marion W. Carson in Spartanburg. Mr. Wilson was a life-long resi dent of Polk County, and the last survivor of a long line of brothers who made their homes here. No funeral arrangements have been announced, but interment will nrobably be in Green’s Creek ceme tery Saturday. The deceased is survived bv four sons, John, Anthony, Fred and Noah Wilson; two daughters, Mrs. Monroe Carson and Mrs. Judson Griswold and a number of grand children and great grandchildren. HIGHWAY CHANGES Clayton Constance, who has been doing special work for the High way Department, has been appo nt ed highway supervisor for Polk County, succeeding Jesse Foster, who is being transferred to an other job.
