The monthly session of magis
trate’s court convenes Monday at
10 a. m., at the court house in
Columbus.
Traffic violations and other
misdemeanors for the past month
will come before the court.
A monthly session of court was
decided upon following the meeting
of civic leaders at Oak Hall sever
al weeks ago, when the judicial
system and other proceedures of
Polk County law enforcement was
explained to the group, and it was
pointed out that a monthly session
would be more complete than a
weekly Monday night session.
Judge Monte Dedman will pre
side over Monday’s session.
