Winers of Hunter Trials Are ofsted By Tryon Club The hunter trials, the second in a series of spring events spon sored by the Tryon Riding & Hunt Club, were conducted Saturday at Fancy Hill over the Herbert Oliver Course. A total of 38 mounts were en tered in the four classes of com petitions. The trials were judged by S. Prentice Porter. Results were announced as fol lows: (with horse, owner and rider listed in order). Young Hunters, (foaled on or after January 1, 1947) : First, Open Spring, W. E. Kuhn and Arthur Riddley; second. House keeper, Mrs. W. E. Munk, Ar thur Reynolds; third, Spanish Port, Mrs. W. E. Kuhn and Ar thur Riddley; and fourth, Farm er’s Joy. Georye S. Brannon and Arthur Reynolds. Amateur Hunters: First, Erased Error, Mrs. Warner Atk:ns, owner and rider; second, Housekeeper, Mrs. W. E. Munk; third, Lucky Spade, P. H. Oliver; and fourth, Reno Rose, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Sweatt, Mrs. Sweatt. Open Working Hunters: (winner awarded the P. H. Oliver trophy). First, Farmer’s Joy, George S. Brannon and Arthur Reynolds: sec ond, Open Spring, W. E. Kuhn and Arthur Riddley; third, Lucky Snade, P. H. Oliver; and fourth, Going My Way, Arthur Reynolds. Hunt teams of Three Hunters: First, Her Time.
