I.MDRUM NEWS Mrs. C. M. Littlefield Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wessel and daughter, Judy of Andrews were week-end guests of Mrs. Wessel’s mother, Mrs. James Neil. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Coe and sons, Jimmy and Norman spent the week-end in Thomasville, Ga. Mrs. Alice Jones, Mrs.- Coe’s mother, who has visited with her daughter for the past four weeks returned home. Mrs. R. A. Burress and son, Lynn, Mrs. Annie Bunch and Miss Shirley Rogers were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bridges and family in Clinton, Tenn., the past week end. The Spaders Garden Club met Thursday in the home of Mrs. W. B. Broome. Mrs. F. M. Little field, president, announced that the club members would assist with the Red Cross Drive. The Council repoi't was given by Mrs. Broome. Flower arrangements were brought by club members and discussed and judged with first plaice going to Mrs. Cecil Atkins and second to Mrs. Joe Arthur. A program on “Birds” was presented by Mrs. Jack Stone. The hostess served refreshments. Mrs. Baker Gibson will be hostess in April. The Sprout Club met Tuesday with Madge Pate, at 3:30. Linda Huggins presented the devotional reading. Dorothory Morrow review ed the daffodil arrangement which was entered in the show at Spar tanburg. The club voted to select a motto and club colors. Mrs. Fred Crain was in charge of the pro gram ilScrapbooks”. The hostess was assisted by her mother, Mrs. Grady Pate and sister, Janice, in serving refreshments. Junior G.
