Telephone Company Elects
Officers For New Year
The annual meeting of the share
holders of the Thermal Belt Tele
phone Co., was held at the office of
the company on Friday at 2 p. m.
Thei-e was represented in per
son or by proxy a total of 608
shares. This is 81% of the total
shares outstanding.
The number ot directors to man
age the affairs of the company has
been reduced from 9 members to 7.
The following directors were
elected for a one year term, G.
H. Bridgeman Sr., and Maurice
Puckett.
Directors F. P. Bacon, P. L.
Barnette and R. H. Brady, term
expires in March 1954, and Di
rectors M. R. McCown and Dr. M.
r. Palmer hold over until March
1955.
