Fire Meet At Gymnasium
Thf Fire Demonstration by the
Try on Fire Department for the
benefit of the Boy Scouts all over
the county and any others inter
ested in dre prevention and fire
fighting, will be held tonight at
the Tryon school gymnasium, ac
cording to an announcement by
Supt. Brank Prffitt.
HOSPITAL NEWS
Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Williams
of Mill Spring are parents of a
son horn March 2d, at 12:03 p. m.,
at St. Lakes’ Hospital.
Other new patients at the hos
pital are Miss Sophia Michiels and
Miss Ruth King of Tryon.
Patients discharged include Mrs.
Walter Brent and Mrs. Clyde Rus
sell and baby daughter of Saluda.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Webster of
Neenah, Wis., have arrived in Try
on for a three week’s visit with
their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs.
George Webster, of Second Street,
Godshaw Hill.

clude R. E. Foster and John M.
Henderson, bank examiners of
Charlotte, who are at Tryon Bank
& Trust Co., this week) ; Mrs.
David Morgan of Asheville (sister
of Princess Sandra Obolensky of
New York, here for her exhibit
at the hotel) ; Mrs. Alfred Bus
selle and children, Lucy, Harriet,
Samuel and Mahala of' Princeton,
N. J. (visiting their aunt, Mrs.
T. E. Brown).
