Tryon Scouts To Attenri
National Jamboree
Three members of Tryon Boy
Scout troop No. 1 will attend the
Boy Scout National Jamboree to
be held in California in July, ac
cording to an announcement by
Scout Executive R. M. Schiele of
Gastonia. The Scouts from Tryon
are Shields Flynn, Carl Pace and
Harold Gallimore.
Jimmy Livingston, 43, former
band leader of Hendersonville, who
has played for Tryon dances in
the past, died Sunday in Flori
da and was buried Tuesday in
Hendersonville.
