Masonic School In Saluda The 38th Masonic District con sisting of the Tryon, Saluda, Hen dersonville and Brevard Masonic Lodges will hold a district school at the Saluda Lodge Friday be ginning at 3 p. m. Supper will be served at Saluda Inn at 6. Then at 7 p. m., the Masons will as semble at the lodge for the second session of the school. District Deputy Grand Master E. H. Gibbs of Columbus announc ed Thursday that J. W. White-' sides of Rutherfordton, District Grand Lecturer, will be instructor at the school. Mr. Gibbs said all Masons wish ing to have supper at the Inn should notify John T. Coates of Saluda by Friday noon in order for sufficient plates to be prepared. HOSPITAL NEWS David Pearl, son of Mrs. M. Pearl, is a patient at St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment of injuries received from a brick, said to have been thrown by a fellow student. Patients discharged include Chas. Edwards, son of John Edwards of Mill Spring; Mrs. E. G. Vollmer of Tryon and Mrs. Glenn Jolly of Mill Spring.
