They need beds, bedding1 and cloth ing. The bovs ages are 4, 13, 17 and 18. The two older bovs are working now rebuilding the house and can take care of them selves. Vance was elected president of the Tryon Rotary Club at a meeting of the new board of directors this week. Mr. Vance is now vice president and editor of the Rotaragraph, the club’s week ly bulletin. The new president, who takes office on July 1st, is a former executive and partner of a school of accounting in Chicago. Since moving to Tryon several years aco he has been active in various civic affairs giving of his time and talent in commercial art, and as vestryman and treasurer of the Church of the Holy Cross. The new vice-president is Craig Purr, head of the Lee Hosiery Mill who moves up from secretary and treasurer; James Pruitt of Sou thern Mercerizing Co., was elected secretary and treasurer. The new directors are Pruitt, Prank Proffitt and Henry Hart. Hold over directors: Retiring President Paul Culberson, W. D. Prather, George C. Vance, and Craig Furr. Exhibition At Gymkhana Frank Duffy of Birmingham, Mich., and his horse, Blue Bonnet, will give a 15 minute exhibition of various dressage movements. Easter Sunrise Services Harold Gallimore will be the student director of the P. H. Club Easter Sunrise Services on Sunday morning at 6 at Oak Hall. All young people in the communi ty are invited to join in the sing ing. Officers of the P. H. Club are Jimmy Ballew, president; Ann Moon, yice president; Ann Coving ton, secretary. Mrs. Clarence Rhodes will direct the music.
