Memorial Golf Results
The results of the Memorial Day
golf two-ball Scotch foursome tour
nament at the Tryon Country Club
Saturday are as follows:
First place for low gross with
43’s was tied between two pairs,
consisting of Mrs. Charles Wil
lard and Nelson Jackson and Miss
Jane Brown and K. A. Bpwen. The
low putts prize went to Mrs. Joe
Kerby and Bob Adams who had
14 putts for the nine holes.
Low net place resulted in a
three-way tie among the following:
Mrs. Charles C. Stratford and
Carroll G. Bennett, Mrs. W. E.
Buchley and Me Hendrix, Mrs.
Cliff Cairns and Seth M. Vinine\

executive, made her home in Tryon
with the Fergusons for a number
of years.
