His leadership in reor ganizing the Country Club at a critical time; his leadership in ex panding the activities of the Ro tary Club; his contributions to the educational and agricultural de velopment of the county as a whole h-ve nlf>ced him in the top ranks of notable citizens who have rend ered outstanding communitv ser vice just for the love of serving their fellowman. JOHNNY TAYLOR PASSES John K. Taylor, 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Taylor of Lynn, died Thursday morning at 10:60 at Duke Hospital, Dur ham, after five months illness with leukemia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p. m., at Lynn Paco let Baptist Church with the Rev. Finley Orr officiating. Burial will j be at Friendship Church near Sa luda.
