Piedmont Executive Board
Meets Here July 19th
The Piedmont Council Boy Scouts
of America Executive Board, rep
resenting 11 counties will meet at
the Council Camp on Lake Lanier
on July 18th, beginning with de
votional service at 11 a. m.
Scout Executive R. M. Schiele
states that the camp' is having a
wonderful season so far. the In
dian pageant on Thursday evenings
have been very popular.
On Sunday the 19th, the new
Walker Lyerly Mjemorial Cabin
will be dedicated and an inspec
tion of the camp made following
dinner. ^

Patients admitted to St. Luke’s
Hospital include Mrs. Helen White
of Columbus and Miss Joan
Thompson of Lynn. Mrs. Charlotte
Lawter of Saluda was discharged.
WILSON—KESTERSON
The marriage of Mr. and Mrs.
Eddie Kesterson of Tryon was
solemnized on July 4th at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Waldrop
of Landrum, cousins of the bride.
The double ring ceremony was
performed by the Rev. Furman
Jackson, pastor of the bride.
The living room was decorated
with gladiolus artd other summer
flowers.
The bride chose for her wedding
dress a white suit, using white
accessories with a corsage of pink
carnations.
Those attending the wedding in
cluded relatives of the bride and
bridegroom.
