LANDRUM NEWS NOTES By Mrs. C. M. Littlefield Jr. Misses Judy, Martha, Dixon and Garrison Durham returned home Friday from Washington, D. C., New York City and points north. Mrs. June Brown of Inman is visiting Misses Carolyn and Eli zabeth Kimbrell. Mrs. James Daniel and daugh ters, Doreen and Martha are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Noah Dan iel. Mrs. Noah Daniel underwent a serious operation at the General Hospital Tuesday. Miss Judy Durham and Garri son Durham spent the past week end in Myrtle Beach where Miss Durham was a member of the Edwards-Coward wedding party. Otis Brady, who is a student at the Wake Forest Seminary in Wake Forest, N. C., has returned home after spending 10 days with his mother, Mrs, Otis Brady. Oth er guests of Mrs. Brady were her grandchildren, Susan Brady and Barbara Nix of Duncan and In man and Joe Bill Langford of Spartanburg. Miss Norma Jean Holloman was the guest of Mir- and Mrs. Ed Lankford and sons, Wallace and Ronnie, for the week-ehd at Myrtle Beach. Mrs. Edna May of Charlotte was the week-end guest of her mother, Mrs. E. R. Gillespie. Mrs. Lizzie Brady left Tuesday for a week with her sons, Melvin and Joe Brady and their families at Duncan. The children and grandchildren of the late Elias Cantrell will have their annual reunion in Brookwood Park, Landrum, Sun lay, August 30. N. C. law requires tobacco ware housemen to report their sales and average prices each month to the State Dept, of Agriculture. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Anderson and children, Bill Jr., and Frances who spent the summer at tjagir Lake Lanier home, the Charles Band house, have returned to their home at Startex, S.
