COMMUNICATIONS
Dear Mr. Vining,
We would like to take this
means to express publicly our ap
preciation to the civic clubs of
Tryon for the help they have given
and are giving to our high school
athletic program. Again this year
the Rotary Club has underwritten
the cost of our football insurance,
which has been of great help to the
boys. Had the Rotary Club not
done this,-each of our boys would
have had to pay a premium of
eight dollars. The Kiwanis Club
has done us a great service in
taking over the handling of the
gate receipts at all our home foot
ball games. This project of the Ki
wanis Club has relieved. our
teachers of this extra work. The
members of the civic clubs have
also assisted us as individuals in
selling season tickets, providing
materials for marking our field,
giving publicity to our athletic
events. The success of our athletic
program will be due to a large ex
tent to the support we get from
these civic groups and other citi
zens interested in our young peo
ple.
Sincerely,
David H. Prince, Coach
