Vosburgh Jr., who sang' two solos, was invited to appear on the TV program in Charlotte .. . .. , Again the won/ derful spirit that dominates the county was -'demonstrated Satur day afternoon and evening at Harmon Field When the Tryon P.-T. .A. sponsored a canrval with entertainment that appealed to all, so evident from the% large num bers of enthusiastic participants. It took a great many energetic hard working volunteers to put it on and it took many participants to make it such a? success. There were ponies to ride, airplane trips, tours bVmotor for the tinv ones, games of skill and chance, end manv other features that evervone found enjoyable.
