High Schools and was graduated
from Meredith College. Mr. Reim
attended N. C. State College and
is now a student at Columbia
University in New York and is as

Jimmy Hill On Radio
Jimmy Hill, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Hugh Hill of Columbus, will
speak over radio station WBBO
December 3, at 2:05 p. m. Jimmy
recently won the Voice of Dem
ocracy contest sponsored by the
American Legion at Tryon High
School and then won the county
contest when he competed against
Glauford Ruff Jr., the winner of
the Mill Spring contest.
