MRS. BERTHA REID Mrs. Bertha heid, 69, of' 208 Pine St., Hendersonville, died of a heart attack Monday morning at-. 9;30. Mrs. Reid was a daughter of the late William S. Dedman of Hendersonville. Mrs. Reid is survived by her husband, R. P. Reid, and several children. Also by two brothel's, W. C. Dedman of Lynn and E. E. Dedman of - Hendersonville, and three sisters, Mrs. F. M. Drake, Mrs. H. M. McMinn and Mrs. W. J. Sexton, all of Hendersonville. Funeral arrangements are in complete, pending arrival of chil dren. > Foster Funeral Wednesday Funeral services for Pfc. Charles Foster who was killed- in an auto accident, will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at Friendship Church with the Rev. Ed Corn and the Rev. Harrison Chapman officiating. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Derby and children, Jay, Ellen -and Susan of Goldsboro will spend part of the Christmas holidays in Tryon with Dr. and Mrs. J. E. Derby and part in Columbia, S.
