Dance Saturday Night At F/Aj(sh House The ' annual Christmas dance for the young people will be held Saturday night at the Parish House from 8 until 12. The dance is sponsored by the Men of the Holy Cross Church. Thomas H. Hair Jr., of Santa Monica, Calif., has arrived in Tryon to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hair. They will spend Christmas Day with Mir. and Mrs. Fred Seely and family in Asheville. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wenger have returned to Tryon from Oxford, Michigan. Miss Lilian Cromer has arrived home from W. C. U. N. C. in Greensboro to spend the holidays with her mother, Mrs. J. S. Cromer. Prices farmers received for the 1953-crop flue-cured tobacco through mid-November averaged 8 per cent above last year! U. S. sheep and lamb feeders are fattening fewer animals for winter and spring markets than a year ago.
