Mill Spring Christmas Program Thursday Night A motion picture film, “Joy to the World” will be a feature of the Christmas program at the Mill Spring Baptist Chtirch, on Thursday night at 6. The Rev. Mr. Martin, pastor of the church, invites everyone to attend. Santa Claus will be there for the young folks and the congregation will join in singing Christmas hymns. Farmers Federation Declares 41st Semi-Annual Dividend “The 41st semi-annual dividend to common and preferred stock holders of record Dec. 20 has been declared iby the Farmers Federa tion Executive Committee and will be payable Jan. 1,” James »G. K. McClure, Federation President, an nounced today. McClure also stated that the total sales during the first five months of the new fiscal year amounted to $3,043,500 an increase of $351,000 over sales made dur ing the same period last year. Common stockholders will re ceive their dividends at the or ganization’s 24 warehouses while nreferred stockholders will receive their dividends through the mail. Mrs. Harold Schlueter (Betty Reed) of Darrington, 111., has re turned after visiting her mother, Mrs. Clare Osborne Reed. Mrs. J. D. Waldrop of Tryon was admitted as a patient to St. Luke’s Hospital. Miss Veronica Gibbs of Route No. 1, Tryon was discharged.
