to America last week and with
Mrs. Tate spent the holidays in
Columbus, Ohio. They are expect
ed m Columbus Monday cu' Tues
day for a visit with Sgt. Tate’s
father, A. G. Tate, and other
relatives before going to his new
post in Texas.
Aviation Cadet Sgt. Major Chas.
Jordan flew from Fort Moultrie,
Ga., last week to spend Christmas
with friends in Los Angeles, Calif.,
and will fly back to Atlanta in
time to spend part of the holidays
in Columbus with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. C. O. Jordan.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Leonard
and daughter, Joan, of Kinston, N.
C., and Mr. and Mrs. Carroll
Leonard of Aiken and Naples, and
son, Ross, spent the Christmas
holidays with their mother, Mrs.
R. A. Leonard and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Deese and
children, Ada and Jane, of Kan
napolis, N. C., arrived during the
weekend for a visit with Mrs.
Deese’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.
A. Carruth in Landrum.

Tryon with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Crawford Walker on God
shaw Hill.

of Westminster, S. C., spent
Christmas holidays with their son,
