URANIUM RUSH
A new townsite in the Beaver
lodge uranium field in Saskatche
wan, Canada, is called Uranium
City, according to the American
Peoples Encyclopedia 1963 Year
book. The town was laid out last
year and claims were opened to
public staking. A thousand claims
were recorded. The Canadian gov
ernment’s Eldorado corporation
planned to bring its Ace mine in
this uranium field In production.
