Jackson-Stratford Mrs. Charles C. Stratford, III Miss Martha Ann Jackson and Charles Carlyle Stratford, III were married at the Morgan Chapel Baptist Church, Lan drum, S. C., Saturday afternoon. Daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Lawrence Jackson of Landrum, the bride was graduated from Landrum High School and Spartanburg Methodist College. She is employed by Wheaton Industries. Mr. Startford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stratford, Jr. of 109 Woodland Rd., Tryon, was graduated from Tryon High School and is employed by Wheaton Industries. Attendants from the Tryon area were the bridegroom’s father who served as best man; his sisters, Mrs. Clifford Langs ton of Robbins, N. Ct., formerly of Tryon, and Miss Judy Stratford as bridesmaids. Attendants from the Landrum area were the bride’s sister, Miss Carleen Scruggs of Greenville, formerly of Landrum, as maid of honor and the bride’s brothers, John Jackson and Daniel Jackson as ushers. Other attendants were the bride’s nephew, James Byrns Brown, Jr. of Greenville as ringbearer; Miss Sheila Hawkins of Campobello and Miss Janet Birdno of Inman as bridesmaids; and Jim Holbert of Due West, S. C., Jimmy Rikard of North Augusta, S. C., and Cliff Langston of Robbins, N. C. as ushers. The cermony was performed by the bride’s father.
