Trade St., Tryon 859-9439 14, 1980 Trout Unlimited Wednesday Night The Pisgah Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold its regular monthly meeting St 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 16 in the Community Room of First Federal Savings and Loan, Sth Avenue and Church, Henderson ville. The program will be a double feature. Thomas J. Harshbarger, Aquatic Ecologist, U. S. Forest Service, will enlighten members and guests on his responsibilities as team leader of the Aquatic Habitat Research Group. Also he will explain the research pro grams made possible by a special hard-to-get $100,000 annual fed eral grant, which Trout Unlimit ed was instrumental in obtaining and keeping it funded. Results of the brown trout egg and fry plantings for which TU supplied man power, will also be reported by Harshbarger. The second part of the program will be given by Don Holebrooks, Chairman of the TU North Carolina Council. He will explain how the responsibilities of local chapters, state councils and national headquarters are coordi nated. Guests interested in trout stream conservation are invited.
