Clyde G. Crissone Clyde George Crissone, 68, of Tryon died early Friday morning at his home after an extended illness. He was a native of Polk County and was a retired textile and railroad employee. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Flanagain Crissone; five sons, Lewis of Inman, S. C., Bill of Mill Spring, David of Tryon, Clyde Jr. of Lynn and Marine Staff Sgt. John Crissone of Los Angeles, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Peggy Hamlin and Mrs. Joyce Harwood of Asheville, Mrs. Jane Atkins of Columbus, Mrs. Bobby Nodine of Landrum and Miss Wanda Crissone of U. S. Navy. Annapolis, Md.; one brother. Tom Crissone of Greer, S. C. and one sister, Mrs. Mary Shehan of Columbus; 17 grand children. Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in McFarland Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Herb Putnam officiating. Burial was in Polk Memorial Gardens.
