Forty-eight children dressed as animals will march into Noah’s Ark, two by two, when the opera “Noah's Flood” is presented at Super Saturday, March 15. The children made their own masks at a special workshop, and among them were Kirsta Johnson, as a mouse and Lori Brannon as a lion. The opera will be presented twice, at 2 p.m. and at 4 p.m., in the fine Arts Center. Mary Ann Claud is coaching the children and producing the opera. John Richards McCrae of Converse college, Spartanburg, is the director. Wreck Move Here Dr. and Mrs. Terry R. McGuinn have moved here from Spartanburg, S. C. where he will complete his Family Practice Residency at Spartanburg Gen- erak Hospital on July 1. They reside at 410 New Market Road with their son, Sean Kevin, a fifth grader at Tryon Elementary School; and a daughter, Erin Kate, age 18 months. Dr. McGuinn is a native of Tryon, and a graduate of Tryon High School, Wofford College, and the Medical University of South Carolina. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. McGuinn. Mack Dimsdale of Tryon coming up Oak Street (between Blue Ridge Weavers and Peebles in an ’80 Ford pick-up was sitting at the entrance of Trade Street when struck by a ’73 Chevrolet pick-up driven by Lloyd Clayton. Clayton who was headed west on Trade Street lost control of his pick-up on the ice. Tryon Police Officer Leon Foy who investigated the accident said that about $200 damage was done to Clayton’s vehicle and about $600 damage was done to Dimsdale’s pick-up. There were no injuries. The McGuinns are members of Tryon United Methodist Church. Their hobbies are family activi ties. Honored LYNCHBURG, VA.
