No official weather report for
Thursday, but it rained off and on
all day. Friday morning was
beautiful. Later in the day, the
wind began making itself felt and
it was a typical March day.
The Trade Street area will be
beautiful when the azaleas
bloom. Additional azalea bushes
have been planted along the
railroad tracks at the turn around
spot opposite the Tryon Theatre.
Work on the stone steps up the
bank where the Rock Grill used to
be located will begin soon.
Flowers are something that all of
us can enjoy. No matter who
plants them or who owns them —
when they bloom all of us get to
enjoy them.
