Be Careful
When driving your car on
Harmon Field Road, 108 from
Howard Gap to 176 and 176 to 108
— the Tryon triangle — Tuesday
or Wednesday between 9:30 A.M.
and noon. PLEASE BE CARE
FUL. Those high school students
you may see along the shoulder of
the road will not be truants or
hitch-hikers nor will they be on
Holiday. They will be members of
the Key and Keywanette Clubs
sponsored by Barry Flood and
Miss Gail Adams in cooperation
with the Community Schools
Project under Coordinator Jo
seph Wray.
' They will be doing their part in
cleanup week by collecting and
bagging the litter that has been
thrown on the shoulder of the
road. You can do your part this
week by driving carefully when
you pass these volunteers and
honking your horn in thanks. For
the rest of the year you can do
your part by not littering —- thank
you. Polk County is our home,
let’s treat it like home. (The
option of Tuesday or Wendesday
rests on the weather: bad
weather Tuesday means clean up
Wednesday ; good weather Tues
day means clean up on Tuesday).
